Warner Home Video today launched

It goes without saying that weve been glued to our monitors like Captain Kirk on a scantily-clad alien hottie looking for the latest news and clips leading up to the release, and now our friends at IDW are giving Trekkies something to tide us over until Trek lands at the multiplex. JVC and Warner Home Video today launched a promotional partnership for the December 9th Blu-ray and DVD release of THE DARK KNIGHT that will feature a JVC print advertising campaign, as well as retail promotions, a co-branded Web site and a sweepstakes. Initial reports stated that British Pop singer Leona Lewi, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles were all approached for the event. I would love to tell you more, but unfortunately no other information is available at this time. Some people, including myself, have found Corteses acting skills to be a bit distracting, though most would agree that shes improved in recent episodes. The album, more than a decade in the making, has received mixed reviews.
